POLICIES

Office Policies

Our office policy requires payment upon receipt of services. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered, including insurance co-payments. If for any reason the insurance does not pay what is estimated, the balance will become the patient's responsibility.

For your convenience we accept Cash, Check, Debit Card, MasterCard, Visa American Express and Discover. A $ 25.00 fee will be charged or any returned check.

Glasses Policy

If a patient purchases glasses at Estrella Eye Care and finds that prescription is not working for them, the patient must notify our office within 60 days of their order date. The doctor will gladly re-check their prescription and make any necessary changes if needed and lenses will be replaced at no charge to the patient. We will make every effort to ensure you are happy with your glasses. Most frames are covered for any defects by the manufacturer for a period of one (1) year from purchase date.

Contact Lens Policy

When a patient purchases contact lenses, the fitting of contact lenses may take from one (1) to four (4) office visits. Getting the perfect fit for contact lenses is a collaboration between the patient and the doctor. On the initial visit, the doctor will provide the patient with trial contact lenses. After the patient wears the contact lenses for a week, the patient will return for an evaluation to tell the doctor how they worked for both vision and comfort. Several adjustments may be necessary to achieve the proper contact lenses fit. The patient has 90 days for their initial exam to finish the contact lenses fitting and evaluation period. If the 90 days are exceeded, there will be a $15.00 fee for each visit required. After the fit and evaluation process is completed, the prescription will be finalized and contact lenses will be ordered. All contact lenses purchases will be final. We will make every effort to ensure you are happy with your contact lenses.
